Privacy policy

StainedGlassPatternMaker is built to work without an account. We collect as little as possible.

Files and inputs you use in the tool

We do not store your uploaded files or tool inputs.

Photos stay in your browser. Images are decoded, resized and converted to vector regions locally; free exports are generated in browser memory. We do not save images or projects to a database, browser draft store or cloud gallery. Only an explicit download saves a local file to your device.

For a paid production ZIP, only the calculated vector geometry and necessary cutting, printing or stock-sheet settings are sent to our server. The seller pack also sends the studio name and notes you choose to enter. These inputs are processed in memory to generate the file and are not saved or logged. The source photo, source filename and image metadata are not sent with that request.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your payment details and email address. We receive a payment confirmation and an anonymous customer reference. We never see your card number.

What we store

To remember what you paid for, we store an anonymous access record (plan, status, expiry or remaining uses) and a one-way keyed hash of the email address you paid with, so you can sign in on another device. We cannot turn that hash back into your email address. Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider. A single strictly necessary cookie keeps you signed in on this browser.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It counts page views and the fixed tool_started, tool_completed, pro_previewed, checkout_started and paid events. Tool events do not include images, filenames, geometry, studio names or notes. A production preview is not a purchase.
